How are donations used?

Every donation goes directly towards funding medical research, advanced treatments, hospital facilities, and programs that make a tangible difference in children’s lives. We are transparent and accountable, and updates are shared regularly with our supporters.

Yes, Live Life Foundation is a registered charity with DGR1 status, and all donations over $2 are fully tax deductible in Australia. You will automatically receive a receipt for your records.

Absolutely. Monthly giving is one of the most powerful ways to support our work, helping us plan ahead and commit to long-term projects with confidence.

Yes. Many supporters choose to honour a loved one by donating in their memory or in celebration of a special occasion. Please contact us for assistance.

Events & Involvement Questions

What fundraising events does the Foundation run?

We run a number of events each year, including our flagship Fly for the Kids national campaign, the Live Life Foundation Charity Golf Day, and Gala Ball. Community-led fundraising is also encouraged and supported.

What is the Live Life Foundation?

Live Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children with life-threatening and life-limiting neurological conditions. We raise vital funds for medical research, advanced treatments, and improved hospital facilities — giving children and families the chance to live fuller, brighter lives.

The Foundation was established in 2013 by Perry Sambor, inspired by a desire to improve outcomes for children facing devastating neurological illnesses.

We support children, young people, and their families by funding world-class medical research and projects such as the new Gene Therapy Ward at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

We are committed to openness and accountability. Annual reports and campaign updates are available to all donors, and we ensure that funds raised are directed to the projects and research we commit to supporting.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and led by our Founder, Perry Sambor, alongside a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers.
